Convent

Seraphic convent & girls school was a dream of the people of Peringottukara. Though many girls passed out SSLC from Seraphic they didn't get admission in colleges because of the lack of seats. So the local people wanted to start a parallel college. Seraphic convent authorities started a parallel college just opposite the school compound. In 1979, an English nursery school started alog with it and in 1983, the LP School was inaugurated. By 1985, there are many colleges nearby, so sisters stopped the parallel college.

               When it was found difficult to manage the school from Seraphic Convent, superiors decided to start a new convent. In 1987 Rev. Fr. Paul Alappatt laid the foundation stone for the convent and in 1988 Mar Joseph Kundukulam blessed it as St. Joseph's Convent.
