Convent

A solitary place for prayer, study and meditation was found by superiors at Venginissery and started a formation house there. On 5th November 1988, the new convent was blessed by Mar Joseph Kundukulam and named as Alvernia F.C convent. In the same year aspirancy and postulancy started there. Canonical novitiate was started there on 26th July 1994. The new chapel in the novitiate house was blessed by Mar Joseph Kundukulam on 17th Sep.1991.

                Understanding the mind of the Church and the need of the time, the sisters involve in various apostolic activities like catechism, home visit, formal and informal education etc. Daily, the novices and sisters spend hours in intercessory prayers and knows the power of the prayer. Through their prayer and deeds they are   trying to reach the footprints of Assisi and Clare.
