Convent

For the great of glory of God an orphanage was started along with Infant Jesus convent. But with the excess of girls, authorities planned to build a new building and a convent for that purpose. With the permission of Bishop of Thrissur, they bought  a new place and Rev. Fr. Paul Chittilappilly laid the foundation stone for it. Sisters of this convent devoted their service in the orphanage and the associated institutions.

The sisters are ready to be in close contact with the parents of the students and giving awareness classes to the girls. For the development of the poor girls in that locality, a tailoring centre was started and a parallel college was started in the year 1977. Today nearly 250 girls are studying in IJ Culture college.
