Kuttamkulam is a beautiful and serene place near Velur which is sacred by the footprints of Arnos Pathiri. There was no convent at that place. So it was a long awaited dream of that people to have a convent at their place. During this time, Assisi Province was in search of a  place for cultivation. The hands of Divine Providence, led them to Kuttamkulam. On 14th Nov 2011, the foundation stone for the new convent was laid by Velur Forane Church vicar Rev. Fr. Thobias Chalackal. Aiming at faith formation and house visiting, Abba F.C Convent was blessed and consecrated by Thrissur Archbishop Mar Andrews Thazhath on 16th August 2012.
